Graduate Profile: The doctoral study program produces an expert in a specific field of research closely related to the topic of dissertation work. Graduate adopted the latest theoretical concepts and methodological trends in linguistics or literature studies. In addition to the knowledge of contemporary English, sociolinguistic and pragmatic contexts of the open system of language, its development and dialectology, the program extends more general philosophical, theoretical and methodological knowledge from interdisciplinary research. The program also highlights the scientific discussion and application procedures for linguistic and literary-language outputs.
Graduate Employment: Graduate is able to apply acquired knowledge into pragmatically oriented research and practice. Regarding the acquired knowledge and skills, the graduate can find career in scientific research or education in academic institutions in Slovakia or abroad.
