Graduate Profile: The study program culturology focuses on education of experts in various areas of social, cultural and scientific life. Graduate has systematic knowledge about the theory and history of culture (world and national), methodology of culturology, philosophy of culture, semiotics of culture, artistic culture, independent culture, intercultural processes, ethics of scientific work, etc. Great emphasis in the study program is placed on achievements in the scientific field, which include active participation in conferences, publication and project activities, thanks to which the doctoral student will learn to identify, precisely formulate and solve cultural problems and adequately present the results of their research.
Graduate Employment: Graduate masters scientific research methods and has detailed knowledge of history, current trends and various areas of culture as well as the results of research in the given scientific discipline. While respecting the principles of scientific work, he/she is able to formulate a scientific problem, solve it and present the results in foreign languages. He/she is able to compare theoretical approaches, synthesize partial knowledge about culture and bring his/her own solutions for scientific research and social practice. Thanks to this, he/she can be employed in scientific-research and scientific-pedagogical workplaces as well as in various cultural and educational organizations.
