  • Graduate Profile:
    Within their field of study, the graduates possess a comprehensive perspective, enabling them to identify and comprehend various contemporary cultural issues and processes at a sound theoretical level. They demonstrate proficiency in the theory and history of culture, encompassing both Slovak and global contexts, as well as the history of aesthetic culture. Moreover, they are well-versed in the terminology and concepts of cultural studies. Their knowledge extends beyond their field, encompassing other scientific disciplines such as philosophy, history, sociology, religious studies, ethnology, and aesthetics, enabling them to develop a broader social-scientific understanding. Additionally, they acquire a grasp of the categories and objectives of cultural organisations, along with skills in management, marketing, and promotion within the cultural sector, thus gaining fundamental management competencies.
  • Graduate Employment:
    The graduates possess the qualifications to assume positions at both entry-level and middle-management levels in diverse cultural institutions, as well as independent cultural enterprises. They can pursue employment as employees within cultural institutions in state and public administration, regional media and publishing, organisations dedicated to the coordination of cultural and artistic endeavours, educational institutions, foundations, civic associations, governmental and non-governmental organisations focused on humanities, and other relevant institutions.
